I have been following President Obama lately because he was talking a lot about early childhood education. My children attend Head Start and this will affect them and millions of other children in the United States.

In my most recent article I described how hard it has been to make ends meet. While reviewing my lack of a budget I tried to see where my money has been going. A large chunk of it has been going to my cell phone carrier.
According to this article I am not alone in this boat. A lot of families have cut spending on food and clothing in order to afford better smart phones.

Making ends meet
I was always raised to take care of the important stuff first. For example, keep a roof over your head, keep food on the table, and keep clothes on your back. Seems easy enough. But as I am starting to find out you throw in 3 kids and the equation gets a lot tougher. I have not been posting very much lately because due to some unforeseen circumstances I have been unable to make ends meet along a couple of the previously listed items.
